01The problem

Your next customer is on their phone right now, looking for a business like yours.

  1. No website

You're relying on word of mouth and a social page. People searching for you find nothing, or they find a competitor.

  2. An old website

Built years ago, slow, hard to read on a phone. It makes a good business look tired before anyone walks in.

  3. A broken website

Down, no padlock, links that go nowhere. Browsers now warn people away from it, and they listen.

02Free check

So how fast is yours?

Put your address in and we'll test how quickly it answers for someone on a phone, the way most of your customers arrive. It runs right now, in front of you.

Nothing you type here is saved. The address is only used to run the test.

03What we build

One studio, whatever your business needs online.

  • Brochure sites

A clean, fast few-page site: who you are, what you do, hours, where to find you and an easy way to get in touch.

Five pages · Enquiry form · Google listing · Hosting

  • Bookings and ordering

Let customers book a table, an appointment or a slot, or order online, straight from the site, day or night.

Live availability · Confirmations · Deposits · Your hours

  • Online shops

Sell your products properly: product pages, a basket, and secure card payments built in and tested.

Product pages · Card payments · Stock · Delivery

  • Redesigns

Got a site that's letting you down? We rebuild it modern, mobile and quick, and keep whatever already works.

Content moved · Same address · No downtime · Links kept

  • Apps

Bookings, memberships, payments and customer accounts. Something people install on their phone and use every week.

Home screen · Push reminders · Accounts · iOS and Android

04Selected work

Four we've built.

A booking app running a real studio, two live platforms for the Kwoter group, and a concept we designed to set the standard for a local business site. Open any of them and have a proper look.

The Kwoter homepage: a dark navy insurtech platform site with an oversized headline and a laptop showing the quoting dashboard.

LiveInsurtech platform

Kwoter

A quoting platform for UK insurance brokers. A long-form scroll narrative with a title sequence, chapter navigation down the side, an interactive savings calculator and a full demo booking flow.

Next.js · React · Tailwind · Motion

The Chalk app class list on a phone, showing today's classes with times, instructor and how many spots are left. The Chalk app store on a phone, showing class credit packs and membership pricing.

LiveBooking app

Chalk Pilates

The app a real pilates studio runs on. Members book classes, buy credit packs, join a membership and manage it all from their phone, while instructors see who's in the room. Installs to the home screen like a native app.

React · Supabase · Stripe · PWA

app.chalkpilates.com
The Kwoter AI homepage: near-black with a huge headline reading thirty employees, one subscription, beside a particle sphere.

LiveAI product

Kwoter AI

The sister product: an AI workforce for insurance brokers. Fifteen agent profiles, a running cost comparison that counts up as you reach it, a particle field behind the hero, and a light and dark mode.

Next.js · Static export · GitHub Pages

The Reading Room concept: a warm, editorial café site with a serif headline reading good coffee, fresh bakes and a proper chapter.

ConceptCafé

The Reading Room

A warm, editorial site for a book café: the menu, the space, opening hours and a booking call to action. We designed it to show the standard a local business site should be held to. Yours could be next.

05Apps

A website gets found. An app gets kept.

Someone finds your website once, then forgets the address. An app sits on their phone, remembers who they are and what they last ordered, and lets you tap them on the shoulder without paying anyone for the privilege.

What we can put in one

  • Booking, and rebooking in two taps
  • Memberships that bill themselves
  • Payments, deposits and saved cards
  • Loyalty cards nobody can leave at home
  • Reminders that go straight to their phone
  • Accounts, so they never retype anything

We built Chalk Pilates, which does most of the above, and a real studio runs on it every day.

Priced on the job

Tell us what you need

No two apps are the same, so we won't pretend there's a price list. Tell us what you're picturing, we'll work out what it actually takes, then we'll give you a number and stick to it.

06Pricing

Straight prices. No surprises.

A one-off build fee, priced on how many pages you need and how much the site has to do. When it's finished, you own it.

A tidy few-page site to get you found.

  • 3 to 5 pages
  • Mobile-first and fast

SEO foundations means building the site so search engines can read it properly: titles, structure, speed and your Google listing. It is not a promise of a top ranking, and nobody honest can make you one.

Building an app instead? Those are priced on the job, because no two are the same.

Optional, once you're live

We'll look after it

Most owners want the website off their plate the day it goes up. This keeps it fast, safe and current without you having to think about it.

  • Hosting, security certificate and your domain renewed on time
  • Security updates and round-the-clock uptime monitoring
  • Weekly backups kept off-site
  • Changes whenever you need them: prices, hours, photos, offers, staff
  • A speed and health check every month, sent to you in plain English
  • You get a person on the phone, not a ticket number

Cancel any time. The site stays yours either way.

07How it works

See it first. Pay when you're happy.

  1. 1Free mock-up

Tell us about your business and we design a real preview of your new site. No cost, no obligation.

  2. 2You decide

Like it? We tweak it together until it's right. Not for you? No hard feelings, and no bill.

  3. 3We build it

We build the full site, fast and mobile-first, and sort the hosting and all the technical bits.

  4. 4You go live

Your site goes live on your own domain, and we're still here when you need changes later.

08Questions

The things people ask us first.

What's the catch with the free mock-up?

There isn't one. We design a real preview of your site before you have paid anything, because showing you beats describing it. If it is not for you, say so and there is no bill and no follow-up.

How much does it cost, all in?

£500 for a tidy few-page site, £1,000 for most businesses, £1,500 and up for a shop or something bigger. That is a one-off fee for the build, and if you host the site and look after it yourself it is the only thing you ever pay us. If you would rather we did the hosting, updates and backups, that is the £99 a month care plan, and your first month on it is free.

How long does it take?

It depends on how big the site is and how quickly you can get us your words and photos. We give you a date before we start and we hold to it. The mock-up comes back to you well before the finished site does.

Do I own it at the end?

Yes. The site, the domain and everything on it are yours. If you ever want to take it somewhere else, we hand it over and that is that. Nothing is locked to us.

I've already got a website. Can you just fix it?

Usually we rebuild rather than patch, because most of what is wrong sits underneath where you cannot see it. You keep the same web address, your content comes across, and there is no window where the old site vanishes.

Do I have to write all the words myself?

No. Tell us about the business and we will draft it for you to correct. If you would rather it was written properly from the start, copywriting is £120. Photos are the same: we work with what you have got.

Will it get me to the top of Google?

Nobody honest can promise you that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we can do is build the site so search engines can read it properly: titles, structure, speed and your Google Business listing. That is SEO foundations at £200, and it is the part that is genuinely in our hands.

Is there a contract or a monthly tie-in?

The build is a one-off payment and there is no tie-in. The care plan is only for people who want us to host and look after the site: take it and the first month is free and you can stop any month you like, or host it yourself and pay us nothing further. The site stays yours either way.
