Chalk Pilates: a class booking app for a pilates studio
The app a real pilates studio runs on. Members book classes, buy credit packs and memberships and manage it all from their phone, while instructors see exactly who is in the room.
The brief
A studio lives or dies on a full timetable. Members need to see what's on, grab a spot and pay without ringing anyone, and the studio needs to know who's coming.
It had to work on any phone straight away, with no app store download standing between a member and a booking.
What we built
A live timetable
Today's classes with times, instructor and how many spots are left, updated as people book.
Credit packs and memberships
Members buy class credits or a membership through Stripe and spend them as they book.
Look before you sign up
A guest mode opens the real classes, store and memberships, so new people can see it all first.
The instructor's view
Who is booked into each class, so the room is ready before anyone arrives.
Run by the studio
The studio adds and edits its own class types itself, without coming back to us.
Installs like an app
Add it to the home screen and it opens full screen like a native app.
